This device is directly installed on power supply lines of overhead contact system (OCS). It utilizes distributed traveling wave positioning technology combined with integrated current/voltage acquisition and pulse-coupled power extraction to enable fault discrimination between main lines and connecting lines under various traction power systems, identify fault causes, perform precise location, and provide early warning for potential hazards. The device assists integrated automation systems of traction substation while enhancing OCS distance measurement capabilities.
